What to Expect From Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy focuses on your abilities rather than disabilities to help you reach your goals. We show patients how to use their bodies in safe, effective ways while conserving energy and protecting joints. We help patients achieve as much independence as possible by learning new ways to do old activities.
We work with your entire health team of physicians and providers to help you achieve the best possible results. If your doctor recommends speech therapy or physical therapy, we can coordinate these services so it is convenient for you.
We offer occupational therapy in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
